One match to watch: Kerem Akturkoglu vs. Rasmus Falk: We are quickly seeing that Galatasaray’s attack is much more than just Mauro Icardi and a few players and Akturkoglu was one of the most versatile players in that impressive group. He is as comfortable scoring winning goals as he is creating them and must be tracked at all times, which is where Falk must keep his head. Copenhagen’s attack is more highly regarded than their defence, but that doesn’t mean they can’t defend, as demonstrated by their elimination of Bayern Munich in their last Champions League outing.
Most likely to score a goal: Mauro Icardi: Showtime is still available for Galatasaray and Icardi who have impressed in the Champions League so far. Should the winner of this match reach the knockout stages of the Champions League, Galatasaray will leave all that is possible on the pitch which is where Icardi’s determination shines. He’s not afraid to shoot from anywhere, which will lead to a goal, maybe two.
Choosing Man of the Match: Kerem Aktokoglu: In every Galatasaray match, there was a different member of the team. The first time against Manchester United, it was Icardi who led the way, but the second time it was Hakim Ziyech’s free-kicks that made the difference. But now look for Aktukoglu to control the game from a central position. Getting an assist while scoring a goal of his own should be enough to pick up the Man of the Match award.
Match prediction: Copenhagen 1, Galatasaray 2: Although this is a tight match given that it will be played in Copenhagen, Galatasaray’s overall talent will prove too much in the long run as they score a late winner to complete an impressive run to the Champions League knockout stages.
Manchester United vs Bayern Munich

One match to watch: Andre Onana vs. Harry Kane: Manchester United’s defensive woes are not just down to Onana, the goalkeeper was single-handedly responsible for many of the goals his team conceded during their Champions League campaign, including a brace in their fifth-round draw against Galatasaray. He will need to be at his best to ensure United have a chance of qualifying for the next round – and to avoid Kane, who will be keen to impress in his first match in his homeland since leaving over the summer.
Most likely to score a goal: Rasmus Hoglund: Some things went well for United during the Champions League campaign, but Hoglund performed well in his first European match for the club with five goals in five appearances. They will rely on him on the day they need to win, and they will rely on his ability to score against every defense they have faced so far this season in the Champions League.
Man of the Match selection: Harry Kane: To absolutely no one’s surprise, Kane has fit into Bayern’s squad perfectly and leads the team with 18 league goals and four in Europe this season. If Thomas Tuchel picks his first-team squad on Tuesday, it’s hard to see anyone other than Kane leading the way for Bayern and helping them finish their group stage campaign on a high.
Match prediction: Manchester United 1, Bayern Munich 3: Scoring is not something United struggle with, but their defending has routinely cost them during the Champions League campaign. Although Bayern have already secured first place, they are likely keen to bounce back from the 5-1 loss to Frankfurt over the weekend and could do so at United’s expense.

One match worth watching: Mats Hummels vs. Randall Kolo Mwani – The veteran German defender was in inspiring form last time out to help BVB to a 3-1 win away to AC Milan. The France international striker scored in the win over Nantes last weekend and will return to familiar territory in Germany. With Ousmane Dembélé unavailable, Kolo Mwani will be one of Paris Saint-Germain’s main attacking threats and he and his Parisian team-mates know they cannot afford to spoil that. Expect the battle between these two to be fierce and Hummels’ handling of Kolo Mwani could determine how Dortmund’s defense ends up dealing with Kylian Mbappe.
