The app that narrates the world for you
Seeing AI is an app that uses artificial intelligence to provide assistance when it’s difficult to see things around you. Microsoft recently expanded the app from iOS to Android only. it’s snowing Available on Google Play Store It works across 18 languages, with plans to expand to 36 languages next year.
If you have an iPhone 12 or later, there’s a similar built-in feature called Point and speak. You’ll need to have iOS 17 or later installed on your iPhone, and your iPhone model must have a LiDAR sensor.
The new Android version of the app has the latest AI features that were previously only available on iOS. These features are:
More detailed descriptions of images: You can get more than just a brief summary of photos on the Scene channel. By clicking “More Info,” you can create a rich description that tells you more about what’s in the image.

Interactive document scanning: You listen to the scanned document but also talk to Seeing AI to get more information. You can ask questions about the document, such as what’s on the menu, how much of an item is on a receipt, or what the main idea of the article is.

Application overview
AI Vision lets you hear a description of what the camera sees or what the photo shows. You can switch between different channels to get focused information:
Images in other applications: Identify any photo by sharing it with Seeing AI.
view: Get a summary of the captured scene and click “More Info” for a detailed description. You can also touch the screen to hear the locations of different objects.
the people: Get to know your friends and people around you.
products: Know the name and details of products by scanning their barcode. You will hear beeps to guide you.

currency: Identify different banknotes.
Colors: Knowing the colors of objects or clothes.
Handwriting: Hear handwritten text such as greeting cards (in some languages only).

a light: Listen to a tone that changes with the brightness of the environment.
Short text: Listen to any text as soon as the camera sees it.
