From the author of The Seven Deadly Sins, Nakaba Suzuki, his first manga series, Increasing influenceis finally getting an anime version more than 25 years after the first chapter was published in 1998.
Increasing influence It is a Netflix original Japanese anime series directed by… Destiny/Grand Order: The First Order Hitoshi Nanba. Main And Bakuman Screenwriter Michihiro Tsuchiya adapted the story from the manga to the screen. The character designs were handled by Kiyotaka Uchiyama, who was very faithful to creator Nakaba Suzuki’s original artwork. Masaru Yokoyama is the anime’s composer.

In the press release with Netflix, Nakaba Suzuki expressed his excitement for the anime;
“I never imagined that after 25 years, my first work would be made into an anime on Netflix! The production team meticulously recreated the illustrations, showing an extraordinary love for this project. As an author, I am truly overwhelmed. The artwork and direction are simply amazing, and The voice actors gave performances that fit the characters perfectly.

The exact release date has not been revealed yet, and we are yet to hear about any initial release date other than the first part of Increasing influence, which Coming to Netflix in June 2024. Part 2 of Increasing influence It will arrive on Netflix two months later, in August 2023.

What a plot Increasing influence?
Netflix has provided a synopsis for the anime;
Gawain Nanomi is a third grader who has an incredible love for baseball and really makes the ball fly. In a chance meeting with a professional golfer, Kiriya Nishino, he learns that golf will allow him to hit the ball farther than any other sport.
Using his physical strength and keen observational skills acquired from living in a rural mountainous area, he was able to hit the ball a distance so impressive that it rivaled that of even the professionals. With Kiriya’s help, the new golf lover enrolls in Camelot Academy, a prestigious school for skilled and aspiring golfers from all over the world. Gawain wants to become the best professional golfer in the world but other golf geniuses with exceptional skills stand in his way and he has to face different trials to overcome them.
