No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win.
The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
1. How to participate in the competition:
(A) No CBS Los Angeles “Donate your LA Chargers ticket” The competition will start on Monday, 12/17/23 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time (“PT”) And it ends Wednesday, 12/20/23 at 5:00 PM PST. The contest is sponsored by The Los Angeles Chargers.
To participate in the contest, users will need to follow the CBSLA Sports Central Participants must also retweet CBSLA Sports Central’s giveaway entry invitation tweet to be eligible to win.
(b) To enter via your X Follow @SportsCentralLA account during the Entry Period.
Participant will need to have a valid X account to enter. A Participant may not use more than one (1) X Account, and if a Participant does not already have an Account, a Participant may open an www.twitter.com. Participants must adhere to X’s terms and conditions, which can be found on their website. Participants provide their information to the Station, not to X. Information provided will not be shared with The inventory. For the station’s privacy policy. Submitted entries may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Promotion Administrator.
(a) Sponsor is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, loss or unavailability of Internet connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted transmissions on a computer or network, or the inability to ACCESS TO ANY WEBSITE OR ONLINE SERVICE, OR ANY ERROR OR OTHER DISRUPTION, OR LATE, LOST, ILLEGIBLE OR MISdirected Entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic manipulation of the Contest or if technical difficulties threaten the integrity of the Contest, the Judges reserve the right to void the entries in question and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries that Received as of the contest end date. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties before its expiration date, notice will be posted on www.KCALNews.com. If the Contest cannot be conducted as planned, for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control that corrupt the administration or affect However, as to the security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the operation of the Contest or the Website or violates the Official Contest Rules by using this Website, and by entering the Contest, you agree to the Station’s Website Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at : “www.CBSLA.com/privacy”.
(b) Contestants enter by following the @SportsCentralLA
(c) Broadcasts are subject to precautions and schedule changes. If such changes occur, they will be posted on KCBS/KCAL-TV Location (station).
(d) Entry deemed to have come from the email account holder.
(e) Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
2. Eligibility restrictions:
(a) The competition is open to Southern California residents (within Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, and Kern counties) who are 18 or older. Employees KCBS/KCAL-TVparamount Global, Los Angeles ChargersAnd other television and radio stations in Angels The Marketplace, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, members of their immediate families and people living in the same household are not eligible to participate or win.
(b) Viewers are eligible to win a KCBS/KCAL-TV The competition is only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is allowed in any contest. Viewers are eligible to win a prize worth $600.00 or more only once every six months.
(c) All entries become the sole property of the Station and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work.
(d) Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry found to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13.
3. Awards:
One (1) winner will receive: Two (2) tickets to the LA Chargers game on December 23, 2023 at SoFi Stadium plus parking. Approximate value of prize package: $599.
(b) Contest prizes are non-transferable. Prizes may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash. The Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.
4. Winner selection:
(a) Decisions of the Contest Sponsors regarding the Contest are final.
(a) The prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 or approximately 5 p.m. PT. A KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV representative will contact the winner via direct message. If KCBS-TV/KCAL-TV is unable to contact the winner based on the information provided on the entry form, an alternate winner will be selected at random from all other eligible entries. Winner must answer the initial phone call and be on the phone to win and accept the prize as stated or respond by the specified deadline provided by KCBS-TV/KCAL-TV.
(B) Prize winner must be able to provide valid government identification if requested by KCBS/KCAL-TV in order to redeem the prize. If a prize winner is unable to provide sufficient identification as requested by KCBS/KCAL-TV by the specified deadline, the prize winner will be deemed ineligible and an alternate winner will be selected at random from all other eligible entries.
5. Terms:
(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner, and winners may obtain IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from the Station.
(b) By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcast materials relating to this Contest, and to sign a publicity release, acknowledgment of eligibility and release from liability before accepting the prize. By accepting the prize, the winner grants to the Station the right to use the winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses for receiving and using the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. By accepting their prizes, Winner and Winner agree to release Station, Paramount Global, The Los Angeles Chargers, their parents, affiliates and their advertising, promotional and production agencies from any liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons or property Which may be incurred in connection with receipt, ownership or use of the Prize or in the course of preparing for, participating in and/or traveling to any Prize-related activity.
6. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to make changes to the Contest rules, which will become effective immediately upon announcement.
7. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing, display, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prize.
8. Failure to adhere to the competition rules may result in the contestant being excluded.
