Big Ten announces 2023 Fall Academic All-Big Ten

ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS – The Big Ten Conference recognized a total of 1,575 students on its fall sports rosters who were named to the Academic All-Big Ten team on Tuesday.

Honorees include 139 students in field hockey, 586 students in soccer, 132 students and 219 students in cross country, 133 students and 242 students in women’s soccer, and 124 students in volleyball.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by inclusion on the official team roster as of November 1 for fall sports), and be enrolled full-time at the institution for at least 12 years months and carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Of the fall’s Big Ten academic honorees, 70 had flawless GPAs:
